Thread regarding CVS layoffs

CFR 3.0

Honestly this is the worst program in years. It wastes so much time that its counter productive. At what point are people held accountable in Store ops and fired for their incompetence?

No big deal, I do my quick picks and cycle counts behind register #3 every morning. A few more key strikes maybe but results will be the same.

That’s what the mo–ns will never get....it’s just quicker to pull the cart!!!!

Another epic failure. Shame on the test stores for not giving honest feedback.

Do 120 a week, have mobile carts, quick pick a waste of time. Has me pulling trial/ travel section. It is quicker do just work the carts.

CVS has tried more than a dozen ways to manage overstock over the years and none of them work. In a NO STAFF environment they should implement the Rite Aid program and send it back to the Distribution centers. Many benefits to this way of doing it. Better CS at store level instead of 1 person pulling from stockroom all day. Inventory Mgt would be much better for corporate. CVS leaders only see one thing first. Payroll/Expense.. They won't see beyond it..

I just don’t under stand why we have mobile back rooms. It’s still more efficient to work carts then to rely on just quick picks and BOH scan to fill your floor.

As far as the new system quick picks go...ridiculous. Not sure how it’s working in low volume, but here in stores $150k plus the drop in real time. This means you can have none and then 2 hours later you look and there in 40. If you do them once a day there are over 200. Then because the Corp decided to reset all shelf capacity to their defaults which are wrong, most of these system generated time wasters are useless. If your BOH and SC aren’t spot on you’ll be fighting a losing battle

Omg, you are right! It is confusing and way to many steps! On cycle counts and boh scan you can easily accidentally change numbers because all the steps. Absolutely ridiculous! And we never get asked feedback on these things.

Agreed, it takes twice as long to end up pulling half as much as you normally would.
