Has anyone else been refused there blocked scheduling even though they signed a contract for it. My work partner and myself will not be given ours and we both need our particular days off. We are given lame excuse after excuse that has nothing to do with us. How do we fight it and get what is rightfully ours. Do we need to go to the Regional Manager? Our Club Manager's boss? Our job is very hard when we are by ourselves (backroom associates), there is too much to do and our blocked scheduling would prevent this. We're feeling very frustrated about it all.

So in a club in Nevada, those papers we signed was for nothing. It was announced yesterday that the store is going back to it's normal shift. 5am-1:30pm and 1pm-9:30pm. Over night is still gone. What was the point? Oh I know, those who management wanted to quit, quit because of the effed up new block policy. Now everything goes back to normal.....Oh yea....and Fresh Leads got nearly $4.00 an hour raises.....
We signed a block scheduling paper that basically said that we agreed to that "so called" blocked schedule. So what was the point of that then? And I have no idea what the first reply on here is talking about. Who's complaining and walking out? THAT has nothing to do with the original question.
Wait so now y'all want the block scheduling? Just two months ago people were complaining bout and talking bout walking out lol

You will get some heads rolling! Take it up the ladder. Just make sure you use chain of management. Than you have all the backing you need.
This will show the club who is boss! They cannot make up their own rules.
The scheduler creates shifts and whoever does your schedule fills the shift with one of people in the Backroom. There should be 4 am shifts and at least one pm shift that comes in at 3 pm. If they are doing that then you really cannot fight this its the new schedule that was created by the computer. If that is not happening open door it to the CM and if that don't work go to Market Manager but be prepared for retaliation in some sort of way. Yea Yea I know that is not allowed but just be prepared for the consequences when you go above someones head. If you are now having to work on the weekends that is part of it no matter how busy you are during the week and you will not win that battle no matter who you go to. Welcome to what everybody else has been doing in every dept since they started there.
There is no contract and the club is not obligated to give you any schedule. Even if you fill out an availability it is subject to the needs of the business.
