with the schedules they have them working I think most of them would qualify for it.

Non-agreement get more disability benefits. 100% vs 65%. Do you not understand simple math? Agreement only get the railroad retirement portion.
If you’re non-agreement and you take stress leave they will make it hard for you to return to work. But if you’re going to quit anyway it doesn’t matter.
So as an agreement employee do we get disability for stress? I have 26 years and am pretty stressed out. Is this through the Railroad Retirement Board? Just not sure what to do . Thanks in advance for any info that you can provide.
Non Agreement do not get the same benefits as agreement. Need I Splain more you id–t's???
You can get disability through MetLife and have long term disability as well.
Disability is part of railroad retirement. It’s paid for by all UP employees and the company. It has nothing to do with agreement or non-agreement. You draw 65% of your normal wages. Non-agreement get the other 35% from the company to give them a 100% total. Agreement don’t get the 35% bump, the resultant total equaling 65%.
Don’t listen to those that feel they need to “splain” something to you.
Managers get disability
part of the short term disability package for non-agreement employees is stress leave. thanks for playing. now go find your local library.
Today must be your first day on the RR. Allow me to splain something to you.
Managers are Non Agreement Employee's. They do not get any kind of leave of absence.
