Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Another person over 50 yrs old hit today -ME

Sad. IBM hardest company in the world to work for. I think their attrition by millennials sums up the state of wwork place. Most don't even know what the letters IBM stand for.

Got hit yesterday—-Watson Health in US. Will be 50 in December. More experienced and higher paid members of the team are being RA’d and work being shifted to less highly compensated team members. This after being heavily recruited less than two years ago!

Bunch of people in Watson Health. Most older. IBM worse that TimeWarner now. Get out now! The packages will keep getting smaller as the cuts continue while MS and AMZ keep kicking a– in the cloud.

And an over 50 in security. Widespread across units, no so wide across age groups.

90 days working notice so we can find another job and then 'voluntarily resign' saving the company from having to count us as being laid off. Sleazy.
