Well hitting our club & fresh associates getting raises!!! Wow! Just WOW is all I can say! Must be nice!! Makes you feel NOT so GOOD about this place! Haven’t for some time now!!

People in my own department get paid more than I do and i have more experience than them. We've been promised a raise for the last 2-3 years. Now they say its happening in March. We'll see.
Meat dept associates deal with members all day and everyday.
All of you who are complaining about the meat dept have you actually worked in there? If you actually have proper amount of people working in there you will be ok. We are short handed in mine.
Is everyone is getting raise but the floor associates? This is so unfair. We work our butts off and get nothing???
I just want to know why my pay grade isn't going up. I'm a certified licensed tech in the pharmacy and will be making 3 dollars less than a fresh associate. I have to do things outside of work to keep my license up, and had to take a test and be certified so I wouldn't lose my job. I don't see why pharmacy is being pushed to the bottom. We only start off a dollar more than minimum wage and have our hands on patient's lives. My store has made 2 million in pharmacy alone last year. Wth??
I heard some people in fresh (HMS) got notified of raises today? What about Cafe? Was anyone in any cafe’s notified of raises today? ☹️
Anyone who wants a raise come to fresh. Simple as that. I know at my club we are looking for good hard working people. If you don't want to come don't complain.
Fresh requires actual care and caution as it's actual perishable food. Unlike your spices in general that can sit on a shelf for 5 years, fresh items are gone quickly and expire. Fresh works harder, have more training and still deal with customers. Produce Lead is now getting paid just over $24.00 an hour...it's about time.
If you are seeing six guys in the meat dept, you are seeing double. Or triple. Get real my friend.
What is with this company and the fresh departments?
They deal with tiny little areas, besides cafe (god help them) NONE of them really deal with members as compared to the front end/floor. In our club they do not help anywhere, there could be six guys in meat department standing around yet other areas are struggling. They took cat 48 away from bakery from some reason and gave it to the floor which means now they even have less to take care of yet still require a small army to work their area.
Also, our four male fresh leads do nothing but their small areas. They are never on the front end covering nor send their extra people out to assist in carts or wherever is needed. Our tire lead is just as bad but at least she comes out of her area every blue moon.
It would be nice if freezer/cooler/deli got a darn raise!!!
I've never worked membership but I've never talked to ANY associate that said it, for the most part, it is a difficult job at it's best. I don't know what they get paid but whatever it is that is not enough.
I am just wondering does anyone know about the membership desk associatea if they are getting a raise? We were giving more duties such as click and pull from the cos leads yet we did not get raise like others did. People think membership desk is easy job it's definitely not. We get all the complaints and have to fix a lot of problems for the members. We have to answer the phone that rings non stop while trying to make a member ship do a return do click and pull orders and on top of that we even check out people. A lot of jobs u can pull others to do but if u do that work at membership desk and are not familiar with things u can't just come up and do the job. I see people posting on skilled jobs. Well in my opinion membership takes skill to do it. I believe we deserve a raise because if we were not there to do that job people couldn't pay their bills, make a return, open a membership, reprint receipts, and now pick up an order also the phone would never get answered. We do a lot of jobs on one position and still make time to help everywhere else of possible. I would love for everyone to get a raise and in saying that I want people who already make say 15 if that the raise we get should get a raise also. Just my opinion some may not agree some will. Thanks

I’m not the one getting the raise. There are other associates that deserve a raise & they aren’t getting one! Sams really cares about their associates, don’t they.....NOT
If you don’t like working there quit. It’s simple. And it sounds like you don’t appreciate the raise. That’s nonsense.
They don't appreciate their workers. That's for darn sure! It's all a manipulation game. So many are falling for it. Then they will shocked again when they cut even more positions.
