I feel as overworked as the next person but we are dropping like a stone and the only folks who are happy are the unaffected in title and pay who have never worked for another real company. Yet we are trying to hire senior positions. This makes no sense to me.

That’s what happens when some of the most stupid and morally disgusting id–ts manage to survive the restructure and now the rest of the company should work their a..5 off to pay for their hefty checks.

2 things;
1) pioneer folks don’t know anything about hard work
2) they are having to hire people because everyone at pioneer is bad at what they do

Agree, it is unfair that support orgs are hiring and getting the same bonus as those in the asset that are overworked. Oh, and thanks for the new business cards that require me to create another login. Just outsource support functions to get some consistency.
Simple answer: the restructure was rushed.
It will reverse course soon. If stock price remains depressed we will see another round of growth and capital cuts. And with the reduced workload more layoffs.
