FSA here...
Not just FSA's but assemblers got the ax also. People at my store are p-ss-d and running scared now.....AGAIN. Thank God I am getting retirement now and won't have to work for a company like Lowe's ever again.
But I really think there is more going on than bolstering the bottom line. I think that some kind of acquisition, sale or merger with someone is going to happen. Just my opinion.
I was a FSA in Lowes .they just hired a private company to to my job. So I guess they where paying me to much money to clean the toilets.so I hope they do a better job then what I did , but I don’t think so because they as a private company ,HAVE no Legence to Lowes the company I was proud to work for.they will see privatizing just don’t work for the people .but does work for the investors only,so I guess the new ceo that came from JCPenney don’t run down Lowes , like he did with JCpennys, go figure. Good luck investors ,and that is why you will always be number 2..........
Same for me also at Lowes of Rockingham N.C. since 2008. But not with the same job there the whole time. There should have been a ahead of time notice, Now benefits will be gone and time to have to waste to find another job. Thank goodness I was in college earning a associates and bachelors degree the time while working for Lowes. F— you home depot, jcpennys prick b–ch. Especially for leaving all of the way from a NASCAR sponsor and sponsoring freaking NFL. Should have went to belks to manage that company instead.
They did the same to both our FSAs today and one of them asked if he could go back to cashiering and they told him no.
