Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

When someone is picked for the new position both lead and coordinator must apply for available jobs ? I really wish they would decide as this has been a long 2 years of worrying !

I don’t usually post on here but our store was picked to do the new membership manager program . We were told we can apply but once someone is picked that is our last day in marketing . The manager said we would be offered another position but he didn’t think we would be given the option of severance pay . This very much upsets me. The policy states if your job is eliminated they can offer you a comparable job but if not then severance. The new job is salary from 35000 to 55000 when you add in compensation. If you do not go over 30 memberships a month then nothing but you do get credit for all credit apps and after so many plus. The hours are 11 hours a day including lunch plus some weekends . Doesn’t give you a home life . Hours probably from 8 am to 7pm. You also have to do a certain amount of time in store working credit . Not a job for me but maybe some else doesn’t mind . You do not get store bonus you have to work on getting compensation

Wow why do people go to these threads and act like that? Why did u call names and act so horror. I think they do it to get threads deleted. Probably doesn't even work for Sam's. SMH

All we know is the position just started to be tested. Give it some time. There are too many threads asking this same question already. It's going to be a waiting game. No to enough people have the info yet.
