How are your Walmart’s doing? I just want serious feedback please. No need for comments like dsd is dead or cash cow. How are your features and out of stocks? Do you know any remedies to share? My DM says we can’t add on a separate order. We’re just told to fix on hands and try asking managers to order for displays. Has anyone been able to get a manager to order for you ? Did the product come in ?? My stores all look terrible and it’s not that I care I just would like to know the process and what to expect and what’s going on

Canada. We eliminated DSD several years ago. It started with a large account doing a trial through Warehouse and then the flood gates opened..

My Walmart is just fine. Full of MDLZ product. And guess what? No DSD where I live.
I've been adding shelf orders for displays that the EDIs don't cover. Got my products, even if it wasn't what we are "supposed" to do.

How are we expected to switch over our displays to follow F&D haha Wal-Mart won’t even order the product to fill the shelf let alone put it on display. I have no Oreos and Friday My chips ahoy were sold out before I put 1 case to the shelf. So those were gone within 6 hrs I’m sure of it.
stores have already pulled my category fixtures. I’ve had these out for years now and have never had them pulled. when I asked about the store ordering for them for me to put them back out to the floor they told me no, all of a sudden there’s no room and it’s not on there planogram. An entire store like Walmart and you can’t put me out ANYWHERE??? At this point I’ll settle for the clothes dept
Takes a littler longer than 5 days to receive the add ons. Full week up to 9 days is what I’m experiencing. But my locked orders have usually been generating 2 orders in advance and sync up to 6 days early so they probably just have to wait for the next open order to attach to. Depending on how soon it’s approved I’m assuming. The thing is some of my Walmart’s aren’t wanting to help me at all! When I ask about fixing on hands or adding for displays I get a smirk with a head shake and an eye roll thrown in there. A lot of these department managers have the education of about a 3rd grader and don’t comprehend anything.its just the luck of the draw I have stores that can’t wait to get rid of us and therefore don’t want to help at all then I also have stores who truly value us and will bend over backwards. Which by the way I still never understood why a certain type of employee always hates vendors. It’s less work they have to do. We clean our own messes. I can k*ll the same rude employee with kindness for a whole year and they’re still gonna go out of there way to be a jerk. It’s usually always the same type of person not even a manager just tries to act like one but has no authority what so ever
I have yet to get with a manager to order for mine (just coming back from vacation to this mess). I have 2 WM. The last order I worked for the one I literally did a complete inventory on EVERYTHING. I don’t keep much back stock in the back anyway but lately just been full misc. cases sinc we’ve been EDI. Now, this week I will be checking with manager to see about ordering as I need. I’ve been gutting my shelf to keep my displays until I get them to do so. I heard you can put that item on some sort of display mode option in their telzon so that the system would order more product for your displays. Also been told that any adjustments made to the order may not show on the next delivery but on the second delivery since the edits were made. I heard it takes about 5 days for the system to take it. Haven’t been through that yet. Hopefully adjustments made Monday will show by Friday. Hope this helps
Did someone tell you this would only take 2 weeks ?? I haven’t heard that one. Just that they don’t know. My orders are coming in small and leaving a lot of outs. Everything core is sold out
My stores have been the most heaviest they have been, the CAO is really over ordering. Great for my number but not how I like to do my business.
DM has told us to add separate shelf orders for what we need. Curious to why EDI was still for Monday orders since it’s two weeks now I’m wondering how long this will go on...
