In the past year our customer count has dropped, sales have dropped, customer service is nonexistent, Stock price is Flat, profits are down, Morale is terrible, and finally Tens of THOUSANDS of Loyal, Productive, Tenured Employees have been TERMINATED!!!!

The stocks of large, traditional retailers have been in decline for over two years. Almost none have fallen as hard as J.C. Penney Co. Inc. (JCP) with its share price off 70% to $2.37. CEO Marvin Ellison has had his job since August 2015. If the board does not replace him with someone in which investors have more confidence, Penney shares will continue to march toward $1.
Marvin has been a mediocre player at every role he has held... Mediocre at Target- no promotion...mediocre at Home Depot- no promotion...mediocre at JC Penney... he knew he had to get out cause the ship is going down when the huge debt payments are due in 2021. He is failing at Lowe's...more store closings next on the chopping block. He doesn't have what it takes to turn the ship around.

He's digging a hole, customers do not matter. Online pickup is moving back to customer service. To pick up an order, which for 18 months, has been instant, in 2 weeks you have to wait while someone tries to do a return, or complain. No staffing to pull orders either! He wants Lowe's future to be as uncertain as Penneys.
