Has anyone experienced racism and discrimination in the London office? I experience it on a daily basis. I have never seen anything like this before.

I don’t believe this. I’ve witnessed the exact opposite, a 30 year trend towards inclusivity.
Well I'd like to know which department the redundancies took place in. I'd like to offer my number too. I have seen white people being promoted and have heard of non-white people being made redundant. Now they have hired someone who is ridiculously stupid for a very important role but it's OK she's white. I just enjoy watching her ask those around her stupid questions. It's the kind of talent the bank deserves.
The person who posted the comment about taking this to HR, you sound like you are HR. Everyone knows HR is there to just protect the company. Best to go straight to the lawyers.
There is no HR. There is a team under the guise of HR..... no true HR person would tolerate what is going on in the bank. Its a litigation protection unit and a dictatorship as opposed to anything that resembles HR.
I was in a round of redundancies - 5 people of colour and me, the only white one. None of the others knew about each other, as redundancy events are very opaque, I met up personally with 3, and offered my contact details if ever they wanted to take things further. HR managed the redundancies, so we can only assume they were fully aware...
If true get a legal rep and take action.
This comment is pretty vague. But, if you have truly experienced this, you need to discuss with HR and provide them with specifics. This isn’t the forum in which you are going to resolve or address anything.
