I heard yesterday that specialty will be leaving market team next quarter and that early next year culinary teams with be splitting as well

gro/body we all know they never close so we have to deal with understaffing so we all quit.
The only thing grobody has done is lower the sales of supplements because there are less TMs that know anything about them. If you stick a grocery person in whole body who is not familiar with everything in the aisle, you are going to sell less. Supplements have a 100% markup, so this move was incredibly stupid. Specialty got uncombined at our store. The only thing about it that was combined is an occasional check in from the market tl with the specialty atl. No one from grobody worked in specialty and vice/versa.
Yet another dud of an idea from corporate that failed to really help revenue coming in the door and only pinched a few pennies from the bottom line...now if they can revisit the ots/clipboard mess we can really see some progress
Our culinary team split back into pfds baking and our market team split into specialty and "grobody" It's based on sales. When a combined teams sales go above a certain threshold it splits off.
Market team was a colossal failure. It still operated as three teams. No specialty Tm's helped grocery or whole body. Whole body didn't help specialty or grocery and grocery was too busy to help because the labor they should have had was all going to 6 tms standing around cutting cheese and refusing to work load or face. There was a point when specialty had more team members than grocery. It was beyond stupid. Grocery is doing 35% or more of store sales. I helped specialty and I cut their cheese faster than all of them.
I don't think any idea coming from Corporate has ever worked. They keep team members so busy implimenting and then undoing bad ideas, there's no time for guests. Combining teams = BAD IDEA. Too bad the Cool Kids at Corporate don't get it.
Market = Grocery/Whole Body/Specialty....cause that makes sense, right? Imported cheese and makeup.
