The fact that you don't even know it's called "specialty" shows the intelligence behind your statement.

No specialists means no need for an ASM over them. To be honest the ASM at my store like to chat up the young female cashiers and hide out in his office. We keep waiting for the romantic rumors to start again. We had an ASM that was “dating” a cashier; too bad his wife found out.

I have seen this before and at office I heard them say that the allowance is going away because the position is going away and this is the reason they aren't worried about lawsuits!! Their going to do more cuts its inevitable its quantity vs quality for them now.

Wouldn’t bother me. Would just be one less senior manager that can hang out and hide in the ASM or PSE office.

Is Sales the same as Specialty ASM?

What would be the point of merging both positions, especially if there’s talk of eliminating Specialist? (The idea of the elimination of Specialists doesn’t seem to far-fetched when you consider the elimination of the allowance and the fact that even CSAs are responsible for making/closing sales without having the title or higher hourly wage.)
