Has anyone heard about the layoffs next week? If so, which groups did you hear are possible targets?

Temporary jobs only in Raleigh for Xerox or FUJIXEROX...That's what I heard for September and October. Very indecisive and lack of communication. Raleigh is growing but its expensive living there with cost of living. The average IT employee in Raleigh and RTP is $98,000 with full benefits to live comfortably and not paycheck to paycheck.
there is a couple non-manager resources left in GSS the others were cut off at the ankles in April and all the GSS employees who voluntarily left were no great losses with the exception of "D". the most recent volunteer exits to date, no great losses either, all dead weight.

XDX comms mtg coming soon, it will be a good time to ask what's up with NC.
XDX cuts may be later than next week, but will be before mid-September. Naresh hasn’t communicated the North Carolina plan yet, and HR will need to assess how many are going to NC, how many refused before making the IRIF.
There will be more cuts in XDX, at least in the Webster site. More consolidation to the Raleigh, NC hub.
Cant imagine cutting XDX any deeper. Barely functioning as it is. Damn.
Seems like >= 60% GSS have left in last 14 months voluntarily due to GSS mgmt threats (many have spoken) and lack of direction within GSS and the broader XRX. Those remaining are walking dead people managers with no people and in some cases no functions either (incident response). If they are around next week, a deity has intervened. Alternatively, big egos are the secret to survival and skills don’t matter.
