Now everything seems shaky. Should I look for another job? My guess is the rest of us will get laid off after Holiday. I miss my laid off friends and wonder if the company considers the human cost of layoffs

After now doing an additional two FTE jobs (bc of course, they were let go), let the lay offs come. I’m ready.

Those days are gone where a company cares. Bottom line is profit. Now that profit is in the toliet eliminating expensive employees are their only hope to gain ground........that and closing stores. You are correct that after the Holiday season layoffs will be massive.
