There is blatant favoritism going on at our club too but how can you prove it? It's immoral, disgusting, and extremely disheartening to those of us who work hard and are long termers, only to be overlooked because we are female or not one of the "favorites".

How can I sue Lowes?
I was fired almost 2 years ago due to a few days I did not work. I was never documented or written up for my attendance. I received a call and was told you're no longer with the business. I was confused to why I was fired because I was a full time associate that was scheduled to work 40 hours every week.

Michigan is an “at-will” employment state. This means that absent an employment contract, the employer is free to terminate the employment at any given time, and for any legitimate purpose. It may be difficult to file a wrongful termination or wrongful discharge claim since your employment was considered to be at-will. Confirm with local employment counsel.
