As mentioned above in the title, we have been scheduled for a last minute town hall in a few days that is titled ‘Core Customer and Retail Sales’...... very concerning if you ask me.

East coast...it seems like the call will be just DMs, CBT teams and above, us reps aren’t privileged enough I guess ha. But hopefully my DM will give an update on the call and I’ll post it

I just now received the town hall email, so I guess you could put me in the lazy DM who doesn’t forward or takes forever to forward emails camp...
If you haven’t heard about this call you either are not actually a rep, don’t read your emails, or have a lazy DM that doesn’t forward you information

I also have a Walmart store manager that’s in disbelief, same as you. And they are like inventory in 2 weeks and I’m just like shrug my shoulders, sorry.
Also yea email dropped yesterday to tune into the town hall because the new direction partnership with Walmart will be revealed.
If a store manager specifically wants us to be able to do our own orders again would you think they could put in some type of request/ permission for us to do so?? I have this one store manager and he’s pretty bent out of shape still about CAO orders for our products leaving too many outs etc. we’ve fixed on hands, we know his employees can order as well but he still keeps getting upset with OUR company over HIS companies silly orders. He’s just not grasping the fact that I can’t touch them at all anymore. Every time
He sees me he wants to know If I’m able to get back in to edit orders and every time
I tell him no he gets all p!ssy

Apparently one of the focus points will be the Walmart No Touch and how they are moving forward. It does not look like we are getting the EDI unlocked anytime soon

As has been mentioned a number of times....the notice will NOT come from a town hall meeting! It will be a scheduled call with HR! You are smart to be concerned, because it is coming, just it that way! Been though quite a few job eliminations with Mondelez and kraft! All done the same!
