Are we getting sold?

There was talk last year that Goldman Sachs could buy BNYM - any chance that can still happen? Lately, it feels like we might be being prepared for a sale - only there are no new rumors surrounding a potential buyer.

I might be very wrong about this, of course, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Somewhere on another post someone said we were merging with JPM. Supposedly layoffs and announcements on 8/19.

Show would we know? And any mere opinion could be just as wrong as last year.

Maybe: flip a coin?
