Wasnt all cashiers supposed to be out of a job back in the early 2000's? Eventually something will happen, just like the next job we will get. Nothing is permanent, if I would have listen to y'all I would have made considerably less over the last couple years.
GS has said all along no layoffs in 2019! That’s 4 months from now, big deal! Yep, you’ve been hearing speculative dates for a long time, and over that time, Mondelez has been moving along as well as retailers preparing for our exit from dsd! We will be here, until we are not! How hard is that? Here today and gone tomorrow.....every paycheck could be one of the last!! Denial or ignorance isn’t a plan! Won’t pay your bills OR feed your family!! The last few weeks product was being transferred into the warehouses! Been there, done that!
I think the ones with common sense know that we are not going out in 2019 so yea we are committed for 2019

What does kroger leaving NC have to do with anything? It is not like that is making your guesses anymore reliable.

I got wind Kroger was going to pull out of NC a year before it happened. They all called me a liar right down to the end, even the managers said they were blindsided. Whose laughing now?

I just can’t see a Walmart manager knowing that right now , he’ll they didn’t even know we where edi can’t order now ..I would think that info is a little important right now , so I can’t see something like that trickling down to Walmart first when they don’t know what’s the hell us going on most of the time

Walmart store mgr came to my order writer this morning and said that they had received a email that our product was going to be coming in on their trucks and that they were to instruct their team members to start working the product. I didn’t get a timeline though, but I’m sure that call tomorrow might shed some light.
They were really harping about this cao process, backstock and top stock conditions and now its crickets so I don’t think they are telling me a story. But all of you can call me a liar that’s ok with me.
Just got our team email about mandatory town hall call tomorrow at 11am. These usually are not mandatory......any thoughts??

I haven't had any to this point, but on Friday I will be getting a big shipment of Family Oreos. Take a look at your upcoming EDI orders, they should be coming for an endcap.
Yeah I have been very optimistic but this is not looking good. It’s not looking like we will ever get the Walmart EDIs unlocked again
