Who else is in ISC if Sourcing, etc is excluded?
Dear Colleague;
We continually evaluate our operations to ensure we’re improving productivity and efficiency to better serve our customers. Aerospace has seen some improvements in factory productivity; however, there is still work to be done around streamlining our processes, reducing waste and improving cycle time, all while better managing costs.
As part of this evaluation, we’ve determined an ISC workforce reduction is necessary in the Unites States and Canada to better align the business with customer needs. Sourcing, Procurement, Global Planning and Customer Operations are excluded. Additional actions may be necessary in other regions of the world which would be determined on a country-by-country basis, following local laws and practices.
I fully understand this is unexpected; however, several factors went into making this decision. We’ll move as quickly as we can through the process and expect to inform affected employees by late September.
Following our established, consistent and equitable policies, we will consider individual requests to be selected for this reduction. Employees interested in being selected should contact their HR representative. Any self-nominations submitted for the reduction will be irrevocable after August 23. Eligible employees selected through this process who work through their scheduled exit date and continue to meet performance and behavior standards will be offered the same benefits as other employees affected by this reduction, including severance and outplacement assistance. Honeywell reserves the right to accept or reject self-nomination requests based on business needs. The Honeywell reduction in force policy for non-represented U.S. employees is available online. For employees in Canada, the reduction in force policy can be found in HR Direct, under HR policies.

My ISC Site is moving to Florida by 2021, we were told no RIF at the site for this go around. Not many left to RIF anyway. Many RIF's to come when site leaves. I guess I will have to self terminate end 2019.
Really something wrong with this company that in the best economy in our lifetime, not able to meet current customer expectations that they even think about letting people go. Oh, also makes a hell of a lot of sense to keep buyers and procurement who obviously is FAILING at turning the tide. MM is simply covering his a– for running ISC into the ground. Someday, someone will wake up and can this guy

Tempe, AZ ISC was notified via email 8/15 of a layoff
id–tic leadership is so far over budget on their plant closures and moves that they now have to lay people off to pay for it.

Since the SBG SPS just announced furloughs, I bet the ISC (supply chain) RIF is just in SPS and not everyone in ISC from any SBG
