On the way home, grab your favorite comfort food and a copy of entertainment weekly to discover new shows you've never seen over the weekend.

Spend the next week or two with family focused on relaxation.
Week three begins the search for new, better, opportunities but limit it to a couple hours a day so you customize your resume to each job you apply - quality over quantity at this stage as you'll have sub pay and unemployment to rely on.

Prepare by, removing all personal items from your work area, recycle old documents, remove personal info from laptop, print critical documents you may need, performance reviews, a list of projects you worked on, contacts - all numbers you use now , basically anything you think you may need. Prepare, prepare today, If you never need this good for you, you beat the system.
