Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Anyone need 75% off appliances go to sears.com

Their dumping everything for way below cost...what a great go forward plan and calling it a "blowout" event.....no you're just trying to liquidate the company before the year is up it's pretty obvious, you have nothing to offer anyone looking for a kitchen remodel except rock bottom prices to house flippers

"After using my reward points, I paid a grand total 0f $ 57.43 with taxes"

Great for you. Asinine for Sears, clearly there's no profit to be had at that price. That's no way to run a business

I just purchased a 178pc Craftsman mechanics tool set. After using my reward points, I paid a grand total 0f $ 57.43 with taxes. Not too shabby... I know this will upset the haters. I picked it up at the local Sears Grand next day, no problems.

I looked on sears com. Only a small amount of kenmore stock are on sale. Those items are old stock n the quantities are limited. So stop getting yourself all worked up!

People are already talking to the media. If Eddie cheats the employees of their pay a few of them are going straight to all major publications and tv networks and spill what they know.

Leave it to the negative haters to try and frame great Sears value on trusted Kenmore appliances as “liquidation” rather than a smart strategy to take share from Lowes and Home Depot.

This is a great way to compete and remind the world how Sears value, service and quality is unbeatable.

@tvx

They’ve been steadily phasing out Apex (UPC prefixes 99575 and 14994, maker codes A, H and S) in favor of Great Star (UPC prefix 20909, maker code Z) in hand tools for over two years now. The minimal amount of Apex sourced items are mostly small tool sets and about half of the open stock wrenches and sockets/accessories along with the pliers. Apex is pulling out and not coming back, which is a pretty big deal considering that that particular relationship dates back to the late 1930s.

Actually they’re dumping everything now to clear it out for the new lines / old lines returning. Good move.

Apex is taking over all craftsman for sears and wants the old stuff out, easier for warranty. GE wanted the same deal so here we go, the transformation is on!!!

All protection agreements are turned over to cross county after 30 days

My grand daughter works at a call center that does outbound calls selling protection plans for Sears branded appliances. I'd be leery purchasing extended protection plans from a company that won't even be around to make good on them but people are buying them.

Either make it right and pay us back or I do have local connections to the news and will share my story and facts about how you took from us to fullfil your greedy go forward plan , and guranteed it will blow up on the media after I decide to show and present what I know.....you think we're all stupid, well we're not and you have till Monday......I've had nothing but time at work and have alot of access to alot of systems about cost and our pay and there is a lot of flaws in how it's been run. So either pay back draw you made us pay back from last October in full and reinstate severance to what it really was before the bankruptcy, 1 week for every year employed regardless of full or part time status or I will make an effort to contact media and law firms and present what I do know

Let's not forget when the STATE regulations made Sears cancel protection plans because there was no funding last October every sales person that made those sales got hit with the return on commission because the state made them return them while we sat out there dealing with the public going further into draw pay while they handed out almost 50 million dollar key employee retention bonuses to executives, while Eddie sits calm and smug at the town hall conference explaining how they almost didn't let him save all these jobs....its garbage, and they do owe back pay....it's class action time, you can't act like you're saving jobs when you're plan was to cut them all and do everything you can to not pay your ground level employees and sit with your smug smile about saving all these jobs when it was about liquidating the company YOUR WAY

You have to be a weasle to make money selling for Sears.....oh we don't have most stuff on display and can't order it but let me weasle you into this GE that is garbage and will take forever to get because we can't even order the other stuff on display and I'll call myself a superior salesman.....no you are a weasle proud to work for a vulture company.

But they're giving 3% commission instead of 1% on that 899.99 30 in Kenmore elite double wall oven....how generous of them while they cut severance and look for any other way to cut commission to go unnoticed.....better sell a protection plan on those to the Russian house flippers or you're fired, it's a complete joke at this point, just admit what you're doing
