Resets

In our store we are doing automatic resets in grocery, dairy and frozen every other week. Tons of expensive food gets donated to the food bank. I don't know why they do not discount it for employees or even for customers.

Company sold out. Vendors pay for shelf space /off shelf space now. It’s as conventional as it gets. Do some research. Hiring outside help that’s pretty clueless. Trim payroll and bring in mo–ns from the outside to do what should be store level work.

All products that are removed from resets are reduced in price for months ahead of time. First they go to a disco price ending in 7 with a last chance tag, then a price ending in 5. Buyers still order when the price ends in 7 and stop when it ends in 5. All product from the rest goes to a last chance rack where it stays unsold until the next reset. In order to fit more stuff on the rack the next reset all old stuff is donated to a foodbank for free.
