Ok so let’s talk reality. Some or more are going to be eliminated who will it be? A fresh manager even though fresh is the companies direction, a merch now that merch team leads now hold keys, or a front end manager since eventually we will be cashier less? We all want to know someone at least give us a heads up!!!!

Cant wait for it to happen. They can have my keys. Every week something more stupid than the week before. The way this company abuses hourly associates its a wonder we have anyone still working for the clubs. They continue adding more and more responsibilities but do not want to add more bodies to get the job done. The leads at our club work harder to get out of work so cant wait.
3 managers will be cut why do you think everyone was doubled up. You think project pretzel was bad just wait. I have left the company because the writing is on the wall I encourage everyone to be proactive and look out for yourself no one else will. I cant say what Sam's club's endgame is but I chose not to be a part of it. I work less hours and make more now. Good luck to all of you and your future endeavors.
I am a merchandise manager . I stay on the floor with my team making things happen. We work together merchandising and doing as much as we can to get the club stocked for our members . Don't knock all managers down. There's some of us that still care and work hard .
The biggest waste of payroll in the clubs right now are assistant managers they create more problems than they solve half the time the other half they are a ghost and you can't find them show up late leave early if we eliminated half the assistants we could hire more merchandisers and cashiers when the leads started carrying keys opening and closing the club it made the assistant manager position worthless

Why do we need 2 membership manages when the membership lead position is also going salary
When is this going to happen?
The ones with the most years of service. That, or the one who is over 50 years old. The company wants diversity and representation from every demographic group except from people over 50,
The team leaders we have can’t pass the test to be able to carry the keys, but they already getting the money for it. The joke is on you home office 😂
With the recent bumps in pay and future bumps that will happen it only makes sense at least two assistant managers will be cut
