Guys still volunteering to work all kinds of overtime here in Conway.... the kicker is it’s the guys that mostly scream pro-union sh– all the time. Former union reps working second and third s—ing up all the overtime they can get. Meanwhile 57 people are on the street. Good job guys 🤷♂️

Nobody on this site knows. It's just a bunch rumors that people stir up. Every shop has those 3 or 4 guys that make stuff up and it eventually ends up right here on this very site.

I find this post a shameful display of pure ignorance. You point your anger at the people who had nothing to do with you being furloughed. They have to work and yes work the OT forced or not forced it is a ugly situation that has been forced on all of us by pure unchecked greed and lack of Union representation. Focus your ire at those responsible

Sorry for the typo , on Shaffer’s I guess your perfect . And for your your info they are forcing overtime . I have not worked any ot since the furloughs began fortunately. And if I read correctly in the contract you can be forced to complete a task before you leave . And I have heard them say recently to people you have to stay . I have been asked and I say I prefer not to , but the lower seniority the more likely they will say you have to stay . It s—s totally but the union refuses to take a stand . In fact the union is saying if they tell you to stay it is insubordination if you refuse .

You could always take a shift of overtime or two, and give the money to a laid off brother in need. If someone's going to work the overtime anyway, and least you'll do the right thing with the money.
Shaefers crossing the same thing is happening . We are being forced into overtime. If they tell you ,you have to work and refuse it is insubordination, you will be fired. Wonderful work environment. We have lost half of our people . The unions are refusing to take a stand . They are now useless ,taking our dues putting them in there pocket . They are folding can you imagine what our next contract will be , when they won’t even take a stand for you in a booming economy , while there are thousands of jobs being lost ? God help us all !!!

Actually 81 on the street! Do I agree with working overtime under these circumstances? Hell no!!! However if no one works to cover the jobs there will be no one left because these b–tards will contract out all the work. Think about that!!!!
