When are all other associates gonna get a raise. I am sick of having more jobs put on us with no more pay. I work at membership and we all do work for others that get paid more than we do. They keep taking responsibilities from their leads and pushing it to membership. How do they justify this? Where is that so called integrity they preach. So over it. They need to give us a raise to.

A pay that would compensate me for everything I get pulled to do would be greatly appreciated. Never gonna happen, i'm tired of being overused, underpaid & unappreciated.
Associates please stop comparing with each other. This is physiological warfare . This company is playing the Associates like a fiddle!!! one against another,causing a toxic environment. Retail is hard work period!!!. Each one Job have it's ups and downs. I worked at the door,Member Support (front line) we are the first ones to get the blows from the members. It's mentally and emotionally draining , listening to hundreds of unhappy members weekly, complaining that we don't carry their products anymore. Do you think we can find a manager to take the blows. No, they are no where to be found. I am so thankful that I had some training on how to deal with so many different personality. After about a year we were instructed not to ask members to show cards. Now we are instructed to ask for membership again. It seems to me that they want to cause bad relationship between us and the members.
Bakery are u kidding me? I am not saying your job is any easier than membership! However u have never worked membership so u have no idea before u speak. But u did get ur raise right? And I am not sure how you can even speak to if a membership person job is easier than yours if u have never ever done it. And I can bet in our club we can do everything you do with no problems
Can you come up there and do membership not likely.. So slow ur roll and stop b–ching you got a raise so move on.
if you make more then what they raise it to you will not get a raise. But don’t worry the new guy will be getting paid just as much as u. It’s like a slap in the face from home office.
Bakery, no one is saying your job isn't hard, but you got your pay raise. Why the snit? You think we don't deserve one too?
Try Bakery much harder than membership any day, they wait on members, answer phones, put away loads, stock tables , wrap , bake cake decorate .Any membership person wouldn't last a week or I mean a day back there it's overwhelming , then be shorthanded on top of that. The holidays are a joke many members grabbing 5 ,6 bags of bread or more they can't keep up ,then having managers asking were everything is at. Get some of the floor people back there that do nothing but stand around and play on there phones, talk, hide in the back or hide in the CBL room or sit down in the furniture aisle and have a good ole time.LOSERS....
In our store, we, the glorified secretaries, can and do, on a regular basis, all other job in the store with the exception of meat cutter, drive from lift, cake decorator, and fresh. Here's this weeks list of what we've done: cafe, gas station, carts, click n pull, runner, cos 8 hour shifts-includes cash office duties, photo, cashier, door greeter, jewelry, stock, zone, electronics, signs, and maintenance. And if there is only one associates in tire and battery, we go there too. I wish they would leave us alone. I'm sick of it.
Membership can do almost ever job in the club. They are Reaponsabile for breaks, click and pull, answering phone, returns, make memberahips, make new cards, make temporary cards, I even do cos breaks when there only one there. They have to call in and make a ticket for things that are torn up. Now on top of theae things alot of times at our club well most of the time there are two of us but during breaks and lunches there only one of us. We are also not only made to go get the CP but we have to pull the orders. We do photo, mobile, when they have nobody. Now walk out to your average person on floor anywhere and see if u can find one that can come up and do our job. You wont hell some of our leads and managers can't do our jobs. So before anyone spouts off it's a glorified Seceterial job I am willing to bet u can't do it. That's like saying a nurse is not really important the Dr is. Well most nurses know more than the Dr. And more secretarys know more than the person they are working for. So if you have never worked membership shut ur mouth because u have no idea. PS I assume you always answer the calls when members call in. AND I have had to go out at least once and help round up carts and helped the cart guys when they were pushing carts in or forward.
For the glorified secretary commenter.... secretaries in many cases run the school, office, etc. And, as a desk associate, I have helped out in TMA, bakery, cafe, and many other areas. When is the last time YOU helped the membership desk?
Well apparently I have never worked membership. I agree carts are hard and they deserve a raise. Tire center come on u work some not alot. They come on at 6 and do nothing until 10 and that just sometimes. Don't tell me what my job is in less u have done it. Go troll somewhere else little man.
