Manager bonus

Store manager here... I might be accepting a job with another company in January 2020. How do I remain eligible to collect the Manager bonus paid out (Mid March is when I got last year’s)? Can I step down to a part time supervisor or cashier and work once a month (to keep an active status).

Stay in your employed in your store manager position until after midnight on 3/15 if you want to guarantee the funds hit your account. If not don’t be surprised if they screw you out of it. You need to see your compensation sheet provided by your DL at review time to be sure what you are getting. Those numbers can be reduced or increased
by the RD and DL for other performance metrics (read the fine print) If you aren’t in the position your DL isn’t going to be the one handling your review.

"Unless otherwise provided in the Plan, in order to be an Eligible Participant, an employee must (a) be actively employed by CVS Health or one of its subsidiaries in the Store Manager role on or before November 1 of the Plan Year, (b) continue in active employment in the Store Manager role through December 31 of the Plan Year and (c) continue in active employment and good standing at all times through the date on which an award is finalized (on the March 1st of the calendar year following the Plan Year).
The only exception to the eligibility requirement are employees who are on an approved leave of absence during the Plan Year but still employed through March 1st of the calendar year following the Plan Year. The approved leave of absence may not prevent an employee from being an Eligible Participant in the plan, but the amount of the incentive award received by the employee may be prorated to reflect the number of days the employee actively worked in the Store Manager role during the Plan Year."

you do not need to be a store manager after the first of the year

The fine print says you must be in a bonus-eligible position at time of payout. Doesn't have to be same position but must be bonus eligible which in stores is SM or co-manager only.

You have to be in the position until the end of the year. After that you just need to be employed by CVS until the payout on March 15th. Read the payout fine print it's all there.

Don’t listen to that guy he is wrong. As long as you are employed with the company then you should still receive your bonus.

No. You must be in the position at the time of the payout. Go out on LOA. Then come back the week it pays out. Then quit.
