HCL NOT PAYING

Has anyone what was let go from HCL being cheated out of their vacation pay? I have been emailing to everyone at HCL that I could find and I am being told that I did not work (which I did in 4th Quarter and would not be entitled to my 4th Qtr vacation.

You are entitled to use 4th quarter vacation prior to 12/31 in the hopes you work til 12/31. You are given an “allowance”. However, just like with contract allowances, should you not remain active until 12/31 that entitlement or allotment is prorated.

HCL you accrue once per quarter, so on October 1st they would dump in what you would earn for last quarter, at our core they still have not gotten our vacation time right, sick time and floater correct but not vacation, we kind of made out though as got 5 extra sick days and 4 extra floaters, I have used every day I have available as not leaving a day on the table, have you tried contacting Balajji (spelling?) as he is head of HR

HCL is accrued time for vacation
You earn your vacation time as the year progresses. It’s not vacation tenure all at once

HCL is incompetent. After I quit, they paid me for a full week they didn’t need to, instead of calculating the vacation pay.

I used to be at zerox if you work 1 day in the new quarter you were entitled to your vacation for the quarter HCL may have changed this, you may want to verify

I was told your vacation pay is accrued with every pay period. Depending on how much you have used through the year you may or may not have any vacation time accrued in the early 4th Qtr.
