When it comes to Sam's pay, the quarterly bonus is not even worth mentioning.

Quarterly bonus is a joke they will find a way to take it away they always do.

There is a lot of layoffs, people who get laid off (many of them are on this site) do not get paid a lot.

I think we have a general consensus here:
""NOT ENOUGH""

Is it true that some California Clubs start you at $15?

Zero when they close your club or eliminate your position or department.

Friends don't let friends work at Sam's Club.

Don't do it.

Agree with the poster who said: " I learned alot from all the training that I got but definitely not a lifetime career."

I worked as a meat department team leader for 13 years and left the company making $16 an hour. I learned alot from all the training that I recived but definitely not a lifetime career.

All associates start at a minimum of $11 an hour. If, for example, you’re brought in from the outside as a team lead then you’ll get the TL starting salary and so on.

This would vary, things that may impact how much an employee is paid is:

  • position
  • location
  • experience
  • full time vs part time status

Not sure if I am missing something, but that's it I think.
If you go to Sam's Salary tracking sites you get this:

  • Average pay $12 per hour.
  • Hourly ranges $10 to $18 an hour

Data is accurate as off May 2019.
