If you fresh to bank than yes. But if you worked long enough what the reason? Just loose your SUB? I would prefer to take my SUB and make sure to use every dollar of it. Use paid free time to learn something new, to be more competitive on market. The bank think that get rid of good professionals, subject matter experts, etc and paid them almost year of SUB for doing nothing is more profitable for bank than continue to use service of such people. So if bank don't understand that we can be more useful for them working and create good product than just siting at home and receiving their money. Why I have to help them to save their money?

If you have more than 20 years of service what a reason? Just to loose your SUB? If you fresh to bank than I agree. I personally will make sure to use every dollar from my SUB and use this time to learn something new.
