Large meeting tomorrow for an update

11/6 is when a lot of Optum Technology resources will be cut. Numerous Human Capital presentations occurred last week.
sad to say, i'd welcome a layoff at this point. the culture and environment at optum is so bad right now i just want my severance and out.
my point is the large layoff is 11/5 and 11/7
So very sorry to hear you we’re laid off. Best of luck to you and anyone else that has lost their job. The rest of us will keep riding it out I guess.
Layoffs occurred the 28th and 29th. I was 10/29. I don’t think there is a specific date or time they have to do it and I don’t think pay cycles matter, maybe in some entities but the company is far to large to think that they have to be done on certain days all the time.
I do not understand what all the noise was about 10/28. Layoffs typically occur the Tuesday of an off-cycle payroll week. That means 11/5 and then again on 11/7.
