Suppose to be streamlined, with a "clean" look.
No gift cards?! How does that make sense?! We, basically, have to tell the members to go get their own, and bring them back. We are not allowed to keep tape or a stapler, or scratch paper, or anything that don't fit in our pockets. Guess we're lucky we got to keep membership cards. But they have to be kept out of sight.
And frankly, some of the members stink, let alone their kids coughing all over you.
Seriously, some personal space please.
Woosh this one day event at the membership desk was a nightmare. Saying that we have not even moved yet. We still have three registers and the computer. I cannot even imagine what it would have been like at the new desk. We were so backed up with ever register and every iPad and still had a line so long. It was crazy
The new desk thing can be described in one word! RIDICULOUS I think teenagers came up with this ridiculous idea
Let it fail. Those who have the most to lose are the ones who are making the decisions and make the big money. You can't save a sinking ship/
Membership desk is where they come for everything. Sc-ap paper. Tape. Scissors. Tasks to be done because they "don't want to" or "don't have time" (in between breaks, being bossy/lazy, or some actual work.
Member service is dead... true because their new 'focus' is product with digital...and maybe people. But don't raise the point that without people we don't need to worry about product. Target on your back.
Another dysfunctional Saturday at Sams Club. Lines all day long at the checkouts. Some of the cashiers work at snail's pace, so sad. Members are getting so sick of it. The club is dirty, bathrooms are nasty, garbage overflowing. Big Sale one week from now and are we ready? Hell NO!!! We won't be ready for the holidays either. What a joke.
Member Service is dead at Sam's...they want us to fail...such a set up...time to move on....Pretty pathetic when items in the Instant Savings Book on either in the steel or still on a truck waiting to unloaded. Members are tired of not being able to find items. The store is a wreck, bathrooms are filthy, always running out of carts.
