All I keep seeing is centers are closing. People are constantly saying how they know someone with inside information that centers are definitely closing. One even said they have a guy "in the know in Basking Ridge" that tech support would be laid off after the 4th of July weekend. Others are claiming that centers being renovated equals writing being on the wall.
I'm a tech Expert in a building that's being renovated. My days must be numbered right?

If people want to talk about the writing on the wall, then lets do it.
Fact- There's a new hire class starting on November 26 here in Rolling Meadows. A friend of mine was just offered a job for the November 26 start date. I was just selected to be a support coach for said training class. Between in class training and transition, the new hire experience will run into March.
Fact- We are now getting an extra week of vacation starting next year.
Fact- Verizon is extremely profitable in the 3rd quarter. Q4 figures to be even better.
These facts point to a company moving in a positive direction. These facts are also verifiable by anyone. I didn't pull these facts from some unnamed "inside source."
Between reading the comments on VZ Web from butt hurt union people that don't get to reap the benefits of the new vacation policy and reading the posts by fear mongering union people on here, its pretty clear that you're verifiably wrong and butthurt.
