I believe the Innovation Center (at least the one in Jersey City) was made because the JC and NYC offices looked like they were frozen in the 70s so they needed something presentable when potential clients visit. With all the recent renovations, it's now no different than any other floor or building.

Aside from the Singapore IC which seems to do interesting projects, I'm not sure what the rest of them does.

Just a random comment here about IT, technology, innovation, and partnerships. Have you ever stopped to think about what a sham the innovation centers at BNY mellon really are? I mean, think about it. What is the actual purpose of the innovation centers? What kind of work really goes on there? What is the company's return on investment for them? What comes out of the innovation centers that benefits the company as a whole? Have you ever stopped to think about stuff like that?

Did you ever notice that the innovation centers seem to be a safe haven for low skilled foreign workers from India? Did you also notice that the person that took credit for creating the innovation centers was once the head of iNautix?

Think about that.

The former head of a company that outsourced foreign labor creates innovation centers and fills them with mostly unskilled L1 foreign workers. Doing so gives everyone in the company the perception that THEY are at the leading edge of technology and innovation for BNY Mellon. Meanwhile, some of them don't even know how to run the keurig in the break area.

Suresh convinced the company to spend millions of dollars for that, and BNY Mellon did it.

It was a fleecing and a sham of BNY Mellon who was too dumb to realize what was really going on. All they cared about at the time was "make us look smart"

They are partnering up with theor buddies (old boys club). A complete shambles of an organisation. Short term vision for over paid management.....they want their bonus and then when they found out they move on. Charlie was found out very quick but he knew it so created his exit under cover before his excuses being a failure came to surface!

You mean good luck to the best in class external partners, don't you? They don't stand a chance. If they think they are just gonna come into BNYM and replace the internal digital ecosystem like I change the light bulb in my fridge, then they are in for a very rude reality check. I don't care how good they are. Artificial intelligence is no match for the genuine stupidity that has built out the backbone of the bnym digital ecosystem over the years. Watching these "best in class" external service partners trying to mitigate a BNYM system is gonna be like watching an episode of the keystone cops. Slapstick comedy at its finest. Tell these best in class service partners that life s—s. They better bring a helmet.
