I’m just wondering what any other Optical people out there have to say about this reset we have to do Sunday. I have found 5 mistakes concerning UPC and Item numbers not matching frames and they don’t have all the lines we carry on the layout sheet we are supposed to follow! Also we now have to renumber all the frames??!! Another waste of time from people that don’t know how to do our job and don’t care!!! just sayin

I was informed by my optical manager we will be having a modular reset and frame changes every three months. So we get to do it all over again each quarter.

Optical creates more profit, not sales

To the person that wrote the last comment I would like for you to come to Optical and try to do my job! Tell me which department in these clubs generates the money that we do besides Pharmacy!
Our optical is selling the ones not going in the new layout as one time buys to try to get rid of them. But yes I hate the new layout. I'm sure in a few weeks the board will be redone again with another bright idea.
