The customers are having a lot of trouble with the self-checkout. They want all the customers using the self-checkout, unless there is a long line. If the customer refuses to use the self-checkout, then we have to ring them up. The customers know that their trying to get rid of the cashiers.

You know... the amount of actual business we do as a store doesn't change just because we have ACO's. And the daily workload we have doesn't change either. And yet they cut a significant amount of hours with these aco's. And now we're left trying to do more with less. Which is bad, because we were this way before aco's, and now corporate just made it worse. Just because we have self checkouts, does not mean we no longer need more than one cashier. Those people could be used to help get things done on the sales floor, in addition to helping to keep up our service scores up. But I guess in cvs' eyes, those things no longer matter. It's all about aco and carepass now I guess.
