Is it as bad as here? Talk about a brain drain... If it continues like this, Cisco will have nobody left who knows how to actually do their job very soon...

People in some departments stay for decades. There is barely any attrition in those. I suspect they become un-hireable and suffer severe skill regression after couple of years at Cisco. That said, don't worry about Cisco. They have enough cash to buy companies that built good products, apply their sales and marketing engine and generate revenues.
Yeah, we’ve lost two very senior leaders (real ones) in the last few months - the most useful execs in the whole BU. Now we’ve just lost a PLM on one of our major product lines.
We’re a partner-led software company now. No need for employees. Especially ones that know what they are doing.
