Thread regarding Barnes & Noble layoffs

Discounts upped, casual dress allowed!

I'm really liking some of the changes, due to the new ownership:
Cafe discount will go back to 50 percent, plus an additional 10 percent on
bookfloor (40 percent).
Jeans & sneakers allowed, amongst employees.

Daunt also told SM's he strongly disagreed with the layoffs & disposing of Leads,
saying it showed desperation on the companies part (and he is correct).

He also mentioned reading a lot of FB he received from employees, when he suggested we message him, a month or two ago.

Sounds like we finally got the right guy to steer the ship (hopefully).

He would never consider it.
And those who will never shop Barnes again will continue to never shop there. So, no matter what he does , it won’t bring them back.

I’m willing to bet- No.
Doing it would be unprecedented and show he wants to return BN to its former glory.

It would be an amazing move.
Would bring a lot of lost sales back.
I’m betting he’s never considered it.

Can refer to each other by using post IDs, like this @11cQ7Die-axe or this @axe .
Also, this site supports text #formatting using #markdown protocol. This is how it works:

Quote/indent: To make a quote, begin a line with “greater than sign” ( > )

Bullets: To create a bullet, begin a line with a dash ( - ) or asterisk ( * )

Bold/italic: Start and finish a string with an asterisk ( * ) to make it bold - two asterisks to make it italic.

Tickmark/code-block: ( ` ) at the beginning and end of word or a string will turn it into a 'code-block'.

I also like this idea. If he does this then I’d trust & believe him. If he brings lead positions back without reaching out to the fired, all those who shop elsewhere will continue to do so.
I’m in !
I’ll shop there again if the wrong is righted !

Is he going to offer those leads their jobs back ?!
THAT would put BN on the path to winning Customers back and going forward !!
( it would be a great gesture. 99 percent would refuse. But the gesture alone, publicized, would win back a lot of the paying customers and help heal those fired !)
