Who is ready for the cluster f*ck that is national hiring day? Can’t wait to have hundreds of people standing around in the middle of my small store because this company is too cheap to rent out a hall or hotel to do this!

We had almost 200 people apply. Not one hired. Why??? No hours to give them. Soooo the hiring day was a farse.
I have an idea. Most people that leave whole foods, we know far in advance. Rarely is it that anyone leaves suddenly or unexpectedly. They will say things like. "I'm going back to school in 3 months", or "I'm moving in December", or I "f—ing hate Whole Foods I'm going to quit soon", or at the very least "Here is my two weeks notice."
So instead of waiting for these people to finally leave, hire their replacements so they can start as soon as they are gone not 2 months later. Especially since people tend to leave in groups. We hire a ton of students that think they can handle full time work and school but are weak pathetic failures who can't. I kid. I mean I did it but it is hard and I'm a weird loner who prefers to have no social life.
Recently my team had 4 Tms leave all at once with anywhere from 5 to 1 months notice. Nothing was done about hiring new people until they were all gone for several weeks and store leadership was like "Why isn't anything getting done? derpa derpa."
I thought we were supposed to have 1500 stores by now? WTMFH? Does the NC Region have to carry this company forever?
we had 250 applicants for 2 part time positions. WTF is the point?
Yeah we did the hiring day as mandated by corporate gods but ny stl is under labor busting numbers-so no hires...all for show....
500 stores renting rooms for 500-1500 for the day. Yeah, it makes total sense to have the stores rent an area.
