Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Non-compete Agreement

I found a great position at a different aerospace company, but I don’t know if I can take it. Does Honeywell make employees sign a non-compete agreement when they hire on? I was hired over a decade ago and have no idea what I signed.

It's not enforceable. I know of a few people who left and were harassed, but it was dropped eventually. Remember that you don't have to tell anyone where you are going when you leave. So don't!

A colleague checked with a labor attorney back then and was told it is not enforceable

You should check just in case

Anyway, Boeing has been hiring Honeywell engineers too

There is nothing that they can enforce against you. Unless of course you plan on taking or using any Honeywell property like trade secret info.
