I’ve heard rumors that she is on the way out. Don’t let the door hit your you know what on the way out. The 8k all-star comment was the nail in the coffin in my opinion. Despite all of the casualties that suffered during her reign, it is nearly over. Not that the next (potential) jerk leading IT will be much better, but it is definitely a worth a shot. Definitely, every 2-3 years is a change in leadership; so, if you don’t like how things are going, just wait a few months, if you can and things will change. For better or worse.
Chuck's whole team that has to go... What is the message here? He failed to bring the bank to where it needs to be and leaves a mess to take another job. How is that a great track record for wf? And folks say history doesn't matter? I never was clear on what he did for VISA nor understood why folks didn't talk about his long time career at jpm with Jaime dimon. Seems odd to me. But now he's gone and we need to deal with the present. What is Todd Gibbons going to do? Keep this path or makes some changes to fix the mess made by Charlie? We need change but the right ones. Not bring down moral and fire folks bec they have been with the bank for years. Stop the talk and have good actions. There are so many good talkers but few with real substance. Also let's make the place human again. It feels like big brother is all around and folks are not allow to be social. It means less worktime. Folks work more when they like the place and their colleagues. It isn't a hard concept. Hope it surfaces. Otherwise this bank will sink.
