HUGE LAYOFF at our orem office so many of our sups got fired + about 3 reps... There's only like 3 left. Site manager is saying nothing else is going to happen. No one else will be laid off but apparently he's a big liar because there's 2 more layoff waves coming in Nov & Jan... What a bunch of bull.

I would suggest anyone working under this person to start opening IDR's (issue dispute resolutions) against them and their lack of management behavior. Remember, IDR's can be opened for lack of communication, listening etc.
What brings you here if you don’t like what you are reading? Sounds like you need to move on. You’re not stopping anything here regardless how much you plead or use exclamation points. We will continue to update and inform each other on what’s going on as it pertains to United Healthcare/Optum Layoffs. It actually reveals how much truth is actually being spoken on these pages, you can’t handle not being able to control it. Funny how familiar your behavior sounds. Micromanaging much?

Scary times as more customer service positions go overseas. I've been told we're a "global company" it's to have a global presence. Their "culture to do whatever the caller wants" is poor customer service, where is the line between culture and intentionally giving the members false expectations. How is that "helping people live healthier lives"?
It appears $s are more important than human capital. Moving jobs overseas destroys people's lives, families and feeds poverty in communities across the country.
But don't worry upper management has it bonuses, executive medical plans, the last profit reported was over 3 billion. Guess the just want more on Medicaid rolls that = more business and higher tax burdens for everyone.
My sup got axed last week, the hardest worker I've ever met, the best mentor of all times.
Sad.
