Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

I’m aware of 4 in Monroe County. I’m no longer XRX, don’t have good insights/network so the number could be much higher

I heard there are XDX positions being let go this week. Has anyone else heard the same thing?

Leave while you can. Not only to beat the other displaced Xerox employees but the recession that is going to occur next year. Companies won't be doing any expansion then.

Without a facility prepped and ready to take the relocating employees in 2019 I assume any written agreements about “when” are comically vague.

Makes planning difficult for the few dozen making the trip. Those moving without any agreement proceed cautiously if at all.

Yes, some have already accepted and are moving. It’s in motion regardless of what has been shared/not shared.

Monroe County is looking more and more like Wayne County these days. SMH

Reality check needed!

1) only 25+/- 10 will get any perm offer
2) remaining 250 +/- 50 will be taken off the books however temporary incentives will be offered to some to train the new (Raleigh staff)
3) to get rid of you, options include
— lay-off
— forced resignation (eg: refusal to take a job with subsidiary)
— job location changeup(“your job isn’t Raleigh anymore, it’s Scottsdale, sorry”)
— other even more devious tactics.
