If you are a Market Mgr and ask your Clubs for several pictures on a daily basis, you are an id–t!! You must know that you are wasting everyone's time. Time that could be better spent on actual work. When Market Mgrs ask for pictures, usually several associates stop what they are working on and go clean up that area. Or fake up that area, clean it up and then put everything back. If Market Mgrs want to know what stuff really looks like, take unannounced visits to the Clubs. Because most of the time, when people know there is going to be a visit, extra help is brought in to fake it look better.

Their so worried about losing their jobs over running great clubs and actually being great leaders with people. It's the way of working these days rather than deal with the real problem or dare to come up with good changes and be able to speak to these terrible ones. Some changes have been ok but, for the most part, the rest obviously not working and they just keep their marching orders and berate, berate berate clubs.
I know I am being petty but no FaceTime on my cell phone, maybe the CM with a company paid cell.
Why are you encouraging market managers to do surprise tours? If a market manager comes into a store and is surprised by what they see, they should question how bad they are at their job. Anyone in the company who thinks that the new processes are running smoothly probably shouldn't have a job with the company. Our new hires, the ones that actually do well, are leaving within the first couple of weeks because they're being over worked right off the bat and with minimal training. No one wants to pretend they love their job nor do they want to do back breaking work for a menial job.
1000% agree with OP. Sadly they will NEVER be interested in reality.
Pictures, facetime, unannounced visits....what these pathetic Market managers live for.
They pick and choose who their going to F with here. Standards are so different from club to club and if you question or are not their favorite, they will make sure your gone. Just visit us more often and the worst times of the day so they can beat their chests. Whatever. Keep coming in, all clubs been looking like cr.p lately. We have just as many pictures of the neighboring clubs too.
So true or do a Facetime tour and do not give them time to straighten up. They like to announce visitors are coming so the mgrs will get people working on the presentation of clubs.
