Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

What time is your clubs evening merchandisers getting out?

At my club it’s never any earlier than 1:30, this past week it has been 3 every day. Just curious to see how other clubs are doing.

@2cch you're well within your rights to tell the F/C driver to f— off until 4 a.m. when the day crew comes in if they show up past 11. Drivers don't dictate your schedule.

if we're lucky we can make it out before 1:00 am on the best day. That's with dropping pallets and stocking them all day long in between doing ma calls. pm shift has the busiest aisles while the am crew has aisle that can be ignored for a day or two after we zone them to perfection like the gm asks.
it's sad that we have the "luxury to stay late" and finish our job because some of us still care about how our store should look.

Check your daily sales. Drop only pallets that can go out completely, clean as you go, and TADA! F/c truck shows up at 11:30pm.. now you have to stay til midnight

Gee it wasn’t that long ago that some people would NEVER leave stuff for another shift! Now I see so much disrespect from everyone even people that use too be friends. Now that we are all in survival mode it’s every person for themselves! So sad....., just sayin

My Evening Merchs have been leaving around 1:30am and the leads around 2:30am. Still getting emails everyday... zone not done, missing signs, threats, disrespect. And this is in a top preforming club. DCs are caught up everyday, dock cleared, floor is stocked to the beams. The job is impossible everyone is miserable, tired and worn out.

11:30 . We have to leave it for the morning crew, they leave it for us, it's a never ending circle. Not enough people. I don't know why they don't see and fix the problem. Especially at night. We have to cover photo, dropping/loading member's larger purchases out the back, or bring it to the desk. And if the cart guys call off, we rotate there too. And they wonder why our turnover rate is so high.

I do not know when our evening crew is leaving but I do not stay beyond 12:30 PM. Period, I work the whole time I am clocked in or at least 98%. The 2 percent would account for the occasional very brief how are you doing conversation. Our freezer guys are not morning merchandisers as far as I know. Yes they stock but come under the heading or at least the leadership of the fresh manager. It is not uncommon we have 5 or six people on the floor. Two team leads and three or four others. One will automatically be doing club pick up. At least one team lead will be doing an audit or some other special thing. On average that leaves 4 people to stock all of candy , hba , grocery , hardlines , electronics , seasonal and clothing. All before 7 AM. ........................We are not alone . we know many other clubs have it as bad or worse than we. It is a truly impossible task. Impossible Impossible IMPOSSIBLE !..................

Hey, hey, hey. Clean as you go, morning crew is in the same situation. We only have a total of seven people in the am, and that includes 2 for receiving. We have to also stock cooler, freezer and 48. I don't understand why they don't see that members are getting upset cause it is impossible to touch every single item that is not stocked. By seven o'clock they want the floor cleared, really? Can you imagine the mess for these holidays? We need to get fully staffed, stocking HBA alone takes time. Not to mention all loose freight pallets that is almost impossible to get to.
