clock is ticking, so many rumors but nothing. if you don't have an offer in your mailbox by sat. nov. 8th there wont be one until maybe end of next year. at least we will know for sure all the posts about an offer were total BS, and I know for sure I will never visit this site again. time will tell!

All you will hear are rumors, even leaked info is still a rumor until its official. Layers RIMOR I heard was something of a more serious rumor cameout last week per people who have many contacts with verizon personal across the board as far as rank within company. But still a rumor until you actually hear it from company itself. Still believe IF it happens, have until mid Nov, they will not allow off payroll into 2020 as employees will be entitled to personal time pay on top of any supposed offer. Its wait and see and that's really it.
Does anyone have any real information on the offer supposedly coming out ? All I hear are b.s. rumors

A serious rumor was presented yesterday per finance institute, who been pretty accurate in past. What itentails, didnt care to ask, it's a rumor. But to be serious in their projection is encouraging. Can only hope really. They have MANY clients retired and also who use services from vz from peons to high level...never know.

Thats true. Wireline is worthless in part because of union burden. Agree.
To last poster....no company will ever try to buy wireline with so many union employees still on the payroll with huge pensions due....that’s why they need to pare down the herd and trim the fat to make things look more palatable...it’s to everyone’s benefit (that’s a shareholder) for them to make offers to union employees now....they let 10K management employees leave and magically the company is still running....IT has gone downhill since...but that is expected....there are simply way too many workers in some regions literally doing nothing....let them take their $ and move on to retirement.....win win

I agree to a point. The 2013 eisp was dated Nov 27 and off books by Dec 29. So if nothing is had in the mail by end of Nov, its not happening this year imo.
