Yermo is a remote location just North of Barstow, fueling stop that only employs one working ARASA Foreman per shift. They have no craft workers (Electrician, Machinist, MSO).
So what's a Yermo?
Knock it off with contractors talks... not gonna happen so stfu bitter guy!!
There closing all shops don’t need machinist electricians techs and foremens getting contractors cheaper pay
Machinist and electricians and techs are gone to there closing all shops
Man some of yall just talking out of your ass
All mso’s will be gone soon along with fg and formeman. Also going for system wide seniority, All contracts will be combined into one. Also no riding conductors , one ground conductor per location doing multiple inbound trains.
No maintenance of way Employees
Getting cut...
MSO going away. Company tired of paying almost as much for someone that " Hasn't been trained", "That's not my job", "I don't know how". If none of the previous mentioned excuses worked, then just tell them it's unsafe, and you still wonder why you are unemployed?
Serious questions...are there any crafts still out there or just mso?
Be prepared for bumping? System wide seniority?
No craft works at any location, they just clock in.
My cattle herd has Yermo and probably wont make it through winter.
Bakersfield too
