Communication on basic things such as the health care renewal and distribution of turkeys has been solax this year. I have not heard a word about them giving out the turkey vouchers. Maybe I missed it but is it me or did they just stop doing it without saying anything?

”What other weird office-specific traditional perks are still floating around this company?”
In my office, we have a huge segment of my team just calling it in while Hyderabad does all of their work. It’s great working late many nights while others don’t answer email and are never show up to the office any more.
Free turkeys was an Eagan tradition. The Rochester office gave out Wegman's gift cards. I'm not sure what the other offices did, if anything.
No Friday half days on my team, although occasionally there are early dismissals by a few hours before major holidays.
No turkeys given to my team. (I'm not gonna say we don't have any turkeys!)
So you folks in Eagan get turkeys. Sounds nice. We're lucky if they keep the vending machine stocked.
We do get Friday half days though. Is that something other offices get? What other weird office-specific traditional perks are still floating around this company?
for Eagan only. get voucher this week in cafeteria. bring voucher next week monday for turkey.
Turkeys? I was not aware that that was even something TR has ever done. It must only be an adopted West tradition, as previous commenter had said.
I believe the free turkeys are only for the Eagan office. It is a tradition going back to the West Publishing days. We are getting them this year.
What office or department gives out free turkeys? Is this some sort of joke?
I don't think this is done at every TR office. I've never heard about it in mine.
Weird my boss said nothing and distributed nothing. This is not new. They s— at being a manager.
Tix distributed starting Monday. Pick up the Monday before the holiday.
