Well server roadmaps are not looking good. TDP is little high. Performance is little low.

It is criminal that BK got what, $100M take or few of compensation for trashing the company? It will take years to fix the 10nm fiasco as AMD gains significant market share. Looking at the posts, looks like BK is busy transforming his new company into a toxic environment, just like he did with Intel.

The one that still needs to go is the chairman of the board, a dinosaur that refuses to move on.

"somewhere in the 5000-10,000 jobs being slashed"

Not sure how accurate, though.

I think the industry is on the cusp of yet another major shift. We'll see what happens, next 10 years will be interesting. With this being said, I think Intel will have a great year in 2020 - but what happens after that it's anyone's guess.

A HUGE sh–storm is brewing. I don't have any specifics yet, but from VP level on down, the message is to have a new job external ready. They will do the usual rolling project cuts, but no big named layoff like the 2015 "ACT" or 2006 "SET". Total numbers are unknown.

We are hoping they give the usual 60 day notice that your job is ending, but who knows these days. Bob is a 'numbers guy' as he likes to say. The days of a good severance are long gone.

See how you think these articles have aged.

The news indicates that there will be large layoffs soon in Silicon Valley. The company(s) are not named in the recent news. The article is from Charlie.
