After 19 years in 3 depts in 3 different roles, I realised it is the same no matter which dept you are in....regretted my decision to stay. Looking forward to this layoff.
I am a director at Nike. I have a great salary, nice annual bonus (when we meet our targets), a nice stocks award, great Paid Time Off, flexibility to work remote, summer hours, discount on products, good 401K match and profit sharing. Sounds great, right? No, it is not. The executive leadership of this company and 90% of the "Sr. Directors" - my bosses - are making it the worst place to work. I am without a doubt leavings all this great compensation package behind to work at a place where people have some respect for one another. Jesus!

If you're not constantly job-shopping then you're really doing yourself a disservice. This applies to any job, but especially at Nike where you will end up just trying to make your boss look better at the expense of the skills and motivation that got you into Nike in the first place. Nike will never give you back what you put into it. Just figure out what you want to get out of it and keep your eyes open for the exits.
I don't think anybody does.
